Teatro Mancinelli
Inaugurated in 1866 and named after the composer and director Luigi Mancinelli from Orvieto, Mancinelli Theatre, after a long complete restoration, was reopened to the public in 1993.
Of great worth is the curtain decorated by the painter Cesare Fracassini. A space usually used for shows and theatrical performances, Teatro Mancinelli constitutes a collateral and complementary congressional facility to the Congress Centre. This space is of notable interest for the high functionality and the setting of great prestige characterized by an excellent acoustics.
The Foyer, completely frescoed, extremely elegant and multifunctional, is situated on the third floor and it can hold from 40 to 150 people. The stalls is able to accommodate up to 164 people. The four floors of boxes can take up to 322 people.
Palazzo dei Sette
Built in the XIII century next to the lofty Torre del Moro and seat of one of the most important magistrature of the city, the "Signori Sette", the Palazzo dei Sette looks out onto the Piazza del Popolo, opposite the Centro Congressi.
After long and accurate restoration work, finished in 1995, the Palazzo dei Sette hosts museum events, shows, expositions, poster sessions and cultural events in a spacious area, placed on three levels and that has been restored to its original splendour in a total of 1.400 square meters and holding over 800 people.
Palazzo dei Sette represents a multi-purpose facility that is corollary to the convention activities of the Palazzo del Popolo Congress Centre.
Chiostro di San Giovanni
The ex-San Giovanni Convent, adjacent to the church with the same name, is found in the Medieval quarter of the cliff.
Completely restored, it houses in its upper floors the precious costumes of the Historic Procession of Corpus Domini and in the cellar the wine bar perfectly integrated in its settings between culture, history of farming economy and modern vine growing.
The multifunctional spaces available, enhanced by a wonderful Cloister whose design is attributed to Sangallo, are used for expositions, cultural and congressional events and measure 260 square meters.
The Sala Convegni and the adjacent Salette Incontri on the ground floor, can accommodate from 20 to 80 people.
Palazzo dei Sette
This church dates back to 1312, when at the request of Bishop Guittone Farnese begun its construction. The building has been recently recovered and restored and since 1994 it has been used as an auditorium able to accommodate up to 150 people in a setting decorated with evocative traces of frescoes and remains of columns in plastered tuff that make dramatically visible its architectural evolution through time.
